Heather frowned as she pulled the blanket over her face and proceeded to force herself back into unconsciousness. It however didn't work as well as she'd been hoping for and despite not really wanting to get up she found that her mind was as always, already awake and spinning. Things hadn't exactly been easy for her after her grandmother's heart attack and then subsequent passing in the hospital a few days later. The bills continued to pile up and the little money she'd been left with was stretched as thin as it could possibly go. After all it was her monetary problems that ended up pushing her out onto the street in the first place.
Running a hand over her face, Heather laid there on her bed wrapped up in the comforter her grandmother had made when she'd first come to live with her after her parents deaths and tried to hold back the tears she could feel whenever she thought about her grandmother now. Eventually she pushed herself out from her bed and silently padded down into the kitchen where the coffee pot had just finished brewing. Pouring herself a cup she slowly made her way over to the large bay window that overlooked the city.
The sun had just set and the city seemed to have just come alive with another vibe. It was hard to label it really and she'd stopped trying to do so. That itch to hit the street and find someone to take a hit from her was there as always just underneath her skin and she absently rubbed her arm as if she could brush it off. It wasn't bad enough that she was wordlessly wandering around and yet despite not needing a hit, Heather knew that she wouldn't turn it down if someone offered. And because of that she figured it was probably best to keep herself busy.
Her decision to go and see Elijah at the gallery was last minute and even as she was just entering the city limits for Santa Monica, Heather wondered if she should have texted first. She couldn't even be sure that the vampire in question would be at the gallery tonight, but regardless she pulled up in front of the gallery and killed the engine in her truck before pulling out her phone and shooting off a quick text to Elijah.
Hey I'm outside. Wanna let me in?<br>

Heather moved from Semmes Alabama to LA after a car crash killed her parents and left her an orphan. She was still a minor at the time so the state released her into her grandmother's care, which for her was probably the best thing that had ever happened. She'd been struggling with her own gender identity since she was a young teen and while her parents were 'supportive' they never really allowed her the opportunity to figure it out. Her grandmother on the other hand played a huge part in helping her realize just who she was suppose to be. With the money she inherited from her parents wills, Heather underwent gender reassignment therapy which was completed during her first year of college courses.
In a strange twist of fate she ran into an old friend from Semmes in a club up in the Hollywood district known as ASP. Although she didn't tell Josh who she was at first, he eventually figured it out and although surprised to see her now as a woman, he seemed happy to have the connection they lost after her parents died and she was transferred into her grandmother's care.
Things have gotten a little tight for her since her grandmother passing due to a sudden heart attack and she ended up having to settle a few outstanding medical bills as well as maintain the house and her class tuition. This sudden influx of monetary responsibilities caused Heather to seek out other ways to make ends meet and she ended up what she though would be a shady modelling job. Turned out it was actually an advertisement for a vampire looking for blood dolls. Although she had no idea what she was doing at first, after the first couple times of being fed off of she's developed a sort of addiction too it and is now up to being fed off at least three to four times a week.
Friends: She's bubbly and fun and enjoys being wild and a rebel. But on the same hand she's also a stubborn bitch that won't think twice to tell you off when you're being an ass. She's full of tough love so if you wanna be in her gang, you'll have to take it as she throws it.
Enemies: Heather doesn't talk about her life as Heath. In fact as far as she's concerned, Heath died in the car accident with her parents. So naturally none of her friends now should have any inclination that she was born a boy. In fact it's probably the quickest way too date to anger her and make her snappy. Just don't go there ok.
Lovers: So Heather is pansexual and not really into the whole idea of committed relationships. She's all for the one night stands and truly loves the whole aspect of friends with benefits. She finds those sorts of relationships to be far less complicated and trying. So for this category I'm all for ex flings and off the wall flings and yeah. Anything you can throw at me.

Heather was no stranger to ASP. Hell she'd been here more times than she could even count but it was a scene she just loved to play with. No one payed her a second glance. Which was something she'd both come to love and hate. For the longest time she'd wanted to simply keep the eye off of her because there had always been something not quite right about her. It wasn't until she'd found who she was that things started to make sense and the turn around since going through the whole gender change process had been pretty remarkable. She'd left her home town of Semmes after the car accident and hadn't really looked back.
She couldn't really say that it was all easy. Because it wasn't. It had been a long, hard and emotional ride and there had been quite a few times that had left her hating herself. While she'd always had big dreams, it became clear early on that it wasn't going to just happen right off the bat.
How she managed to run back into Joshua after so many years of not keeping any contact was quite the story and she still can't get through it without breaking down into uncontrollable laughter. After all she'd never pictured Joshua as a stripper and she was almost positive that he'd never expected to come face to face with her, as a woman. Still she will admit though that over the years, Josh has turned into quite the stripper and if there wasn't a sort of platonic love between the two of them, she totally would have gone after him. Knowing that he was doing a show tonight at the club, she moved easily through the crowd of people making her towards the usual table they had long since claimed as their own.
